[ Gwen's at home when she gets a text from Usagi, cleaning up the mess she had made while she was six and playing with Jeff unsupervised.

It comes as a surprise, because she had come away from that conversation on Varian's birthday announcement post feeling a little awkward for calling Usagi out. She didn't regret doing it; it needed to be said. But she didn't expect Usagi to follow up on it. ]

that's good. were they all chill about it?

[Gwen will find, with time and more exposure, Usagi doesn't let pride get in the way of the feelings of others, quite the opposite, usually.]

look, i'm sorry if what i said came off as harsh or anything.
the truth is, i've been where you are, doing what i think it's best no matter what other people's opinions are.
it almost lost me some really good friends.
i just wouldn't want that to happen to you, or anyone else.

[ Gwen would like to think she's not the same person who trampled all over Tony and Sarah and Cecil's feelings, but then... None of those three talk to her anymore, so who knows? ]

It needed to be said, I needed to hear it. It doesn't really matter if it hurt me since it got me to stop. I'm a big girl, I can handle the truth.

I'm... a lot to handle. I know I am. Even when I'm trying not to be, I am. [Rei more or less knew that and willingly... well, no, Usagi wasn't sure about the willingly part, but at least partially put up with it more than anything else.]

And forcing that on others isn't anything I want.

So I guess, don't really hesitate to call me out when I'm being too much. I don't always realize I am. I'm a pretty massive idiot like that.

I'm going to have to find someone who can deal with teaching me cooking. Can't keep switching between pasta, rice, and sandwiches for dinner forever, right?

I did, yeah. I'm the event planner for the comic book store, actually! Which, ya know, is great someone as loud as me.

That's great! I'll be honest, I need to figure out what being an event planner actually means. Like, I know it means holding something at the comic book store, but like, how big, ya know?

they make frozen pizzas that you just put in the oven for 20ish minutes. easy peasy!

well, the shop can only hold so many people. so don't go inviting the whole town, i guess? but it would be cool to host some fun events and really drive up business.

um... the country club, probably? i know some of the townwide events have been held there. that's just counting sleepers, though, not the locals.

Fantasy, romance, really anything where girls kick ass! But noooo horror! None! I HATE horror movies! I get so scared by them!

Eeeeewwww... reminds me of this one kid I had back in school who was a creep. Maybe our first even should be like... a pool party or a BBQ by the lake and make this guy get in.

pool party is probably the safer bet. some of the lakes and stuff around here can be kind of sketch.

he's a guy from a world a lot like the one i came from (though not the exact same one... it's a long story.)
he's been here longer than a lot of people, and he's done a ton of research into what makes Creepsville tick.

Oh! Do you think he'd mind my giving him a call or like, should I wait for him to come to me? [Considering Usagi started this whole conversation with the understanding of "I'm a lot to deal with" she would really like to NOT be hated by someone by just being herself.]
