The rest he's still having nightmares about dying and coming back to life.

[ Oh. Okay. They're hugging now. Gwen is stiff at first, surprised by the sudden closeness. But the double heartbeat is kind of comforting, so she ultimately relaxes and wraps her arms around the Doctor in return. ]

[It's okay. It's safe in his arms. He understands her pain, relieving your own death in your nightmares. Besides the love giving with his hearts, Gwen can also probably feel his own pain about the same subject.
